Top Ten Innovations 2011 according to The Scientist- Leica SR GSD
The Top Ten Innovations Contest, established by the magazine The Scientist, awards the “coolest life science tools to emerge in the previous year”. This year, the Leica SR GSD microscopy system for widefield super-resolution ranks among the list of new and exciting technologies that made their way into the labs.
TheLeica SR GSD is based on GSDIM technology (Ground State Depletion followed by Individual Molecule return) which provides the highest resolution, down to 20 nm, possible with a light microscope today.
